£3,000 to Old Boat Corner Community Association

The community hub is open seven days a week from 9 to 5. People who access the various available services are often facing issues around the cost of living, mental health and social isolation. Open access services include a low-cost café, affordable under 5s groups, Boatopia - a pay as you feel charity shop - and a venue for hire. There are also fun days and events, a community cinema, a Play Café for young children and a Costume Library for Halloween and World Book Day. Community services include long-term food support with weekly food parcels, pre-made meals and emergency food supplies. Our donation will go towards essential household items which are generally not donated through other organisations
